Having first met in the classrooms of the School of Applied Arts in 2000, Nicolas and Benjamin had already completed a number of collaborative projects before they went their separate ways, only to join forces once again in founding OVA Design in 2008. Nicolas: BTS ACI (Higher Technician Certificate - Assistant in Industrial Creation) from the Lycée Camille Claudel, Blois; DSAA (Higher Diploma in Applied Art), Creator-designer, from ENSAAMA, Paris; independent Paris-based designer (2006-2008). Benjamin Sabourin: BTS ACI (Higher Technician Certificate - Assistant in Industrial Creation) and Higher Diploma from Créasud Bordeaux. Set design project manager at the Palais de la Découverte (2006-2008). The studio advises, explores, researches, develops and supports corporate projects. OVA Design is involved in the innovation processes, from prospective research to full development. Alongside this industrial activity, Ova Design sets up workshops with craftsmen and enthusiasts in order to produce limited-run products, representative of the partnership.
